Artist Bio: Rodney Coriz acquired this art medium through teachings by his grandfather, Lupe Pena, and mother, Nestora Coriz. They are both exceptional jewelers. As a child, he learned traditional bead, shell, inlay work, and metalsmithing by watching and observing their work. At the age of 10, he began to design and create his own jewelry.
