About White Buffalo Stone
Despite its name, White Buffalo is not turquoise. It is a rare stone found primarily in Nevada and Arizona, composed of calcite and barite, often with black or brown matrix from trace minerals. Unlike turquoise, White Buffalo contains no copper, which is why it lacks blue or green coloring. Its natural white coloring and bold matrix make it highly sought after in Southwestern jewelry.
