The Painted Weave Earrings are a colorful pair of handcrafted earrings made by an artisan of Santo Domingo Pueblo (Kewa Pueblo). Their intricate geometric design combines individually arranged pieces of stone and shell to create a vibrant mosaic reminiscent of a woven pattern.

Featuring rhodonite, denim lapis, turquoise, orange spiny oyster, red spiny oyster, mother of pearl, abalone, and onyx, the earrings bring together shades of turquoise blue, deep denim, coral, red, black, and luminous shell. The small rectangular and square inlay pieces are arranged in an eye-catching pattern, giving this pair wonderful color and detail.

The tapered rectangular shape creates a contemporary silhouette while allowing the traditional stone and shell inlay work to take center stage.
