Painted Divide Cuff

Inspired by the rugged terrain and natural beauty of the Southwest, the Painted Divide Cuff is a beautiful expression of traditional Navajo silversmithing and exceptional craftsmanship.

Handcrafted by Navajo artist Lyle Secatero, this sterling silver cuff features five Campitos turquoise stones, each displaying its own distinctive shades of blue-green and natural earthy matrix. The stones are arranged across the front of the bracelet, creating a striking display of color against the silver.

Intricate hand-stamped geometric detailing follows the upper edge of the cuff, while decorative silver accents separate the turquoise settings. Every detail reflects Lyle's dedication to precision and his distinctive approach to traditional hand-stamping.

The open cuff design offers a timeless silhouette, making this piece beautiful worn alone or layered with other sterling silver jewelry.

About the Artist

Lyle Secatero was born to Randy and Sarah Secatero on February 23, 1988, on Navajoland near the Zuni Pueblo.

The oldest of three boys, Lyle was the first to follow in his father's footsteps in jewelry making. Inspired by his father, Randy Secatero, Lyle developed his own distinctive approach to traditional Navajo silversmithing, taking the art of hand-stamping to another level.

Beginning his jewelry-making journey at just 12 years old, Lyle became known for his exceptionally detailed and intricate stampwork. His philosophy emphasizes quality over quantity, with each piece reflecting his dedication to craftsmanship.

Lyle began receiving awards in 2015 at the age of 27, including Second Place at the 2019 SWAIA Indian Market for his detailed hand-stamping.

Please Note

Natural turquoise varies in color, matrix, and pattern, making each stone unique. Slight variations in handcrafted silverwork are part of the character and individuality of artisan jewelry.
